while at the cashwrap I worked on marking down the wallets. there were a bunch. plus a few color specific.I left them in their current homes becuase I didn't think there was any way to give them a good home in the sale section. I also started working on the sunglass dime outs. that is pretty much it.

I worked in backstock and tried to get the sale shoes marked and grouped together. I also worked on grouping like styles of the full-price. It's not 100%, but it looks a lot better and at least now the styles are together so we don't have to look all over for sizes. we just need to clean up the random returns and there are a few styles that need to be grouped!

i also redid the shoe table and got a lot of styles back onto the floor! it was pretty light even though nico did it yesterday! it looks amazeballs if i do say so myself.  

today should be super busy with that street sale/fair thing whatev so it should be a good day.

BEFORE THE STORM

Hello Wacc Team

This Morning I worked on just trying to eliminate boxes & Consolidating. In  the process I filled panty - land.   After that I could not stand to look at the display shoes any more looking empty knowing there were other styles & colors In back. So i pulled all the sale shoes off and updated the table.

even though the sale shoes are in the picture above i pulled them after the pic lol. I wasnt aware Wacc left their markdowns on the floor this week. I also think we should start adding dimension to the tables by turning some of the shoes sideways I was able to get out the studded wedge and the BDG sneaker wedges.

In the process I pulled ALL of the sale BDG wedges out of back since there was an entire empty wacc shelf in sale. I maxed it out with those shoes clearing space in back and in hopes to see these fly out those pearly doors. I used the floor as well just because...Hey its sale and were having a sale - max max max.  Hopefully we see a jump in numbers as well

Anni Mentioned to me that there were a few things she wanted to see out..I found those animal hats and placed them in the rounder down stairs for now..I also had Christine take a shot at outfitting and asked her to use the hat as well; so its repped on the floor. that can be a hard selling spot .. but it looks to be good for now  Thanks Christine

There was also a bag that comes in two colors i placed it on the MINK PINK table and house under-stock of it behind it ..Looks good for now.

Lastly I didn't spend much time at the cash wrap Cory Mentioned that he filled toms. I filled scarves and spent most of my day in women's.


Tomorrow is ATLANTIC ANTIC SO I FEEL LIKE WE NEED TO KEEP OUR PRODUCT REPRESENTED TO SELL IT OUT. OH BOY  PREPARE FOR THE CROWD GUYS!!!

Saturday Morning Directives

Please PLEASE work on WACC shipment. Especially the gypsy style bags, and the cute animal hats I would love to see those go out. Other then that, please work on helping continue clearing out backstock. I feel like there is a lot of WACC in boxes back there right now. As most of you know, Charley is now the mens manager! So congratulations to CharChar! You will be missed GREATLY in WACC. But you are just a department away. At least you're still here! But sir, it has been a pleasure to work by your side. You have taught me so much and I look forward to working even more with you. So whenever you guys see Charley, show him lots of love! Just remember he only moved downstairs!

DUN DUN DUN! I am the new WACC manager. :D I am super thrilled and excited. I can't wait to see what else I can bring to the team. If anyone ever has any scheduling mishaps, needs any help/advice/direction/anything (even non work related!) I am here for you guys. Seriously. You guys are my babes now  ! :)

DIRECTIVES!

This week has been kind of crazy because I am learning a ton of operational sides of management. We'll be with a team lead soon enough which will help lots. We have color specific mark downs this week. Also, a new promo on the pointed BDG skimmers starts on Thursday. They will be $19 and the are originally $40something! Crazy! I cleaned the A-Frames in the back there was a lot of missed markdowns on there so I pulled them off and filled with new flats we got in yesterday. I set up the BDG skimmers for the promo so all we have to do is add signage Thursday.

SO, the main things this week are definitely MARKDOWNS, SHIPMENT, FILLING, and CLEANING. I will repost with weekend directives. I'm the opener till Friday anyways, haha.

I know this isn't just wacc related, but the sale section prices are horribly off. I just went through three racks and almost literally every single item was at least an additional 50% off of that sticker. A lot of dresses were marked 39.99, but were really 9.99.

If the sale is marked correctly then we will sell more which means the store makes more money and we get more hours. It's super important that the prices are accurate!

As far as I could see all departments could stand to do a good audit and cleaning.

day #2!!!!!!!

ok so this morning i worked a lot in backstock. I got all the winter wacc that was in cardboard boxes and put them in labeled crates. I pretty much just helped nico get the back of house in somewhat order. I tried to consoladate bins, arrange them so it didn't look so crazy, and swept up. I think that is really important that we clean up the hanging outstocked shoes as well as the boxed shoes. There are randoms everywhere and it makes simple tasks like filling and the shoe table next to impossible. I didn't get to the shoe table, but it's not in the worst condition I've seen it in. 

Also Anni, I know my ava. is kinda limited, but I would be super interested in coming in one day and just working/organizing the back if there are ever any extra hours to do so. If that is possible we could maybe talk and plan a day sometime. :) :)    

I did some light filling for a few things like the studded flats and some scarves. I also got some $9.99 sale out from the back and into the sale section.

I also helped in men's becuase Savion was strugglin' there was a lot to do!!!!

I just saw the notice about the dime-outs in the glasses Anni so I will work on them while I am up at the register. As long as it's not too busy I can pull and re-fill!

also i completely redid the 2 a-frames in the back. When I organized them I had two whole sides left. I think it's really important that we make sure we aren't confusing similar styles. They were a lot of randoms and ditched go backs. in the a-frame. with that said I got out over 2.5 crates of shoes from the back.

I am also helping nico with some things in men's becuase wacc is in pretty good shape and nico needs some extra help.

Saturday: please focus on filling the floor. Leggings need to be filled, along with the rest of intimates. Spot fill hats, bags, TOMs, and small goods. Thank you, and have a great morning!

9/20

This morning I spent the majority of my time filling, and working in backstock. There are at least 6-8 boxes of WACC back there right now.. They are ALL tights, gloves, and socks. So, we need to come up with a game plan on how to get more out/how to backstock them. I was able to backstock two boxes but they were mostly filled with scarves.

I filled scarves and jewelry. I put out a new scarf that came in 3 colors (it's a sheer striped scarf, on the back of the vignette near the stairs). I also shifted some scarves and bags around. I continued processing some left over jewelry at the cash wrap. I also spent some time auditing the floor for mark downs.

We ended yesterday up but we are still down on the week. Lets really push that WACC this weekend. It's cold, I think these ladies need some scarves (and/or hats!)  ;)

A Day In Wacc

Good Day All

I came in at 8 today I took a look at new shipment. Wacc got in literally 2 items. Another Color In those Animal flats and grey replen in Lace  Panties.

I was asked to remove sale from the floor. So most of the sale bags made it to sale. Nothing else really; Because Morgin says she has a plan for the wacc sale area. I think shes thinking all shelving.
Anyways the rest of the sale went into boxes and bins & are in Backstock.

There is a box of Wacc Backstock that I did not get to actually backstock so  can someone please work on getting rid of that box?

Another of my projects was to clean the belt peg wall..it was crazy. and we also got in 2 new pony hair belts   ( Im guessing from the day before). So that wall is now clean with full programs. Lets try to close it out properly as well at night.

There was an abundance of scarf moves. I also got out most if not all of the new scarves we got in. I also found a home for those rock bracelets we got in on the wacc cluster.The spirit hoods are oddly folded into shelving in zone one. Only about 3 can fit out of each. There are 4 colors. I dunno if this home will last for long but i guess thats what it is for now.. Thats really all I got done as far as wacc shipment..

My day was full of returns and exchanges.. But I think we were looking good on the day By the time I left.

Hey hey hey!

The past two nights I had the pleasure of closing. I appreciate the opening team, for holding it down. Okay! Now here we go!
When I came in today. I had a few free hours to jump into getting a few things backstocked and marked down. I began with the bags and hats. Which are first on the manifest. Unfortunately, today. I only had the chance to move a few marked items. I didn't want to leave any holes. Many bags are on sale. I moved the promo bags that were marked into sale. Mostly every bag on a table is on sale. Please revisit the manifest at the cashwrap. Please continue those markdowns. After placing new shipment this week. Thanks to Nandi for jumping into locating that x body bag. Also, for leading the close tonight.
So, please do not forget to fill. Oh hold up! The deux lux bag in green and black can move onto a vignette. We should be receiving 13 boxes tomorrow. Hopefully, some good wacc!! Anni, has posted some previous direction. Please take a looking at it. If anything else, I will post midday. Have a wonderful day!!

I am working a 9-6 today. I find it harder to put out shipment during these shifts because I am not part of the shipment process in the morning, by the time I get in everything is being put away. I did get out two new scarves so far. We got a looooot of boxed shoes. Three styles of shoes. We got 5 boxes of the same boot!! Other then that, we got in animal scarves.. Yes, you will eventually see what I mean (as soon as I hide them under a table.... just kidding, kind of). We got in replen of the BDG loafers and the KB flats. The animal printed flats are back (at least in one color so far). We got in the fleece lined tights. Also, a third color to the boxy backpack near the cash wrap (the one opposite the sunglasses). We got jewelry, sunglasses, hair accessories, and socks..

We also got firsts and furthers this week. I began marking down the firsts on the floor to help make room for some new product we'll be getting in this week. We had a lot of stuff go on sale.. So let's keep up with the mark downs. I'd like them done by Thursday.

Tuesday: Please put out as much shipment as you can and continue on mark downs. I will leave the manifest at the cash wrap.

Hey team!

This morning Tyler and I worked on a massive fill in wacc. Tom's ™, the Deena & Ozzy arrowhead bag. That keeps finding its when into backstock. Sale bags went out. Promo flats and bras. We last left off on scarves. Which eventually were filled. Tyler, updated the shoes in the lounge this morning. Nandi, will update it again Monday evening. We didn't really get to wrap up the sunglasses job outs. We went to help out men's. They had a lot going on. Tomorrow, we will re- peg the canvas lace up wall. Its beginning to look a bit crooked. Shipment, has been placed and backstocked. That is all for now.

apologized for the back and forth with my working schedule,
I had to get my school schedule locked down first.

Now that I have done so, I do have a set time slot to work, which is:

of availability BUT when those school breaks come around I will be open like a fat

SO REALLY QUICKLY..FRIDAY; I CAME IN AT 8AM THERE WAS NO SHIPMENT. SO I QICKLY GOT ON FILLING TOMS. AND MAXING OUT THE PEGS. I FILLED MARY JANES BAGS AND WHAT JEWLERY I COULD FIND.

MORGIN FOUND ANOTHER HOME FOR THE LEATHER BACK PACK THAT CAME IN TWO COLORS. ITS NOW ON AN  A  FRAME. YOU WILL ALSO NOTICE WE HAVE A NEW FIXTURE FOR WALLETS. SO CHARLIE WORKED ON FILLING WALLETS.

I ALSO GOT RID OF THE WIERD BASKET CHARLIE ASKED ABOUT. I THINK WE HAVE MORE NEW FIXTURES COMING IN SOON FOR WACC AND BEAUTY SO LOOK OUT FOR THOSE. THE STORE IS REALLY COMING ALONG :)

AS FAR AS BUSINESS AND THE DAY I THINK WE ENDED UP MAKING OUR DAY. OR COURSE I DEALT WITH MANY RETURNS. BUT NOTHING OUT OF THE USUAL

Good morning!

So tomorrow should just be concentrations on wrapping up the dimeouts. The manifest is at the cash wrap. Anni, started on the sunglasses. However, we had a visit. She wasn't able to finish it.
After that should be a good filling of Tom's ™, socks and hats. There is a basket of panties soon as you walk in to backstock. Those can get maxxed out. There are backpacks placed on the wall in front of the room environment. These bags come in two colors. Please see Morgin regarding new placement. Necklaces and bracelets can use a good fill as well. Nico, is opening! So, the morning should go well. The s
Eternity scarves in the shoe lounge need filling. The black and maroon ones. There's enough blue out there.
The canvas lace ups need filling as well as, the kimchi blue promo flats in blue. Which are in a bin with the bdg canvas pointed Skimmers in the bay.

This morning I was prepared to put out a ton of gloves. However, Morgin had me work on some other things and we ended up agreeing they can stay off the floor for the weekend. Not to mention I would have a ton of unplaced casual shoes from that move. So that's why the glove A-Frame did not happen. Instead, I worked on filling panties (which we have a lot less in backstock then I was aware of..). There was also the top row of the panty wall that needed filled in so I did that as well. Then, I max'd out the shoe lounge shelving with new boots. The BOTTOM row of boxed shoes are the ones on promo. Please spread the word for the weekend! I know this might confuse some people but we can't really afford to take a loss with some of those boots that aren't on promo. Please communicate this to the customers!!

I also moved all the backpacks upstairs to the wall near the cash wrap. Now none of them are on promo and they are ALL together in the same place. I will fill them before I leave. So now we can point the customers to one destination for female back packs. Morgin also added extra face outs to this wall to create more room for backpacks.

Then I spent the majority of my morning finishing processing the jewelry from Tuesday. I'm not done yet but it will be done before I go. I also cleaned up the jewelry frame over the past few days. Let's keep it clean people!!

A Day In Wacc 9.12.12

 Hey Wacc Nico Here.

I Worked 8-5  today which is sort of a wierd shift.. So I didn't get the head start on shipment obviously .. But I did try to get out all that I could.. Which was just a necklace with stars it comes in two colors as well as a new hat that Gabby helped me place.

I find it hard to work on shipment or projects while being stuck at the cash wrap . So that's why I wasn't able to get much done.

Firstly  there are a few projects that needed to happen today.. The Cami wall changed into a Cami speed.. Id also like to point out that  there were PLENTY of missed markdowns on that wall. So I moved all the sale Cami's into sale and that wall went to women's. The promo Cami's are now 2 for 22 instead of 2 for 20.. they are on a speed in Panty land, signed and all.

Secondly MORGIN asked me to fill the boxes at the very TOP of the PANTY WALL but I couldn't get an hour downstairs.  SO that needs to be HANDLED ASAP. ALSO THE SHOE LOUNGE  SHELVING needs to be clear of all sale shoes. and Morgin would just like boxed boots in there.. THE SIGNAGE for the promo booties needs to go up as well.

A quick review with direction and a question.

Helloooooooo team!
Before I blog about numbers. There are a few things you may run into. Wait! Firsthand, I would like to say thanks! To Nico, Leslie, Nandi and Elle. For looking out for the team. My question goes to Elle. Where did you place those neutral color backpacks. That were by the room environment?
This week we have a lot to focus on. We have special guest stars helping us out this week. Gabby, will be with us for the next few days. To help out with merchandising the floor. With stellar results.
We received 26 pages of dimeouts. Arrrgh! However, its a beautiful thing. Most of it is jewelry. Thankfully, Nico started this for us.!! I left the manifest at the cash wrap. Attached, were the sunglass job outs. Not to be scattered. Since its me .... Wacc shipment from yesterday has been processed and backstocked. With the exception of socks and gloves. That Anni will be working on this week. There is a box of unprocessed jewelry at the wrap to be worked on. While we are on the subject. Lindsey, untangled 12 necklaces from that pile. So, magic does happen.
After shipment, please do a quick spot fill on Tom's ™. Scarves on tables and outstock flats. I managed to get every promo bag and panties onto the floor. If more comes in Max it out.
Sunglasses can use a fill. As well as bras. I will be posting pictures of the jewelry and beauty in a bit.
Also, thanks to our other special guest star, Nico. For riding with our team. He helps out a great deal in our department. So, thank him!!

9/10 - 9/11

Sometimes I feel like when I'm writing on here no one reads it. I see you guys comment so I know some people do read it. I guess what I'm getting at is, I posted (pretty simple) directives for LAST Friday morning. All weekend went by and no one read the blog/did the directives? And no direction was ever left saying why no one could even get to it. I'm just really dissapointed. I'm referring to this East West bag that has a third color that no one was able to put out all weekend. It's Tuesday and I'm going to make sure IIIII take care of it today. I guess let me know if anyone wants me to keep posting directives on the blog. Would it be more beneficial to just e-mail the store? Or maybe I'll mail it to you guys? Stick it on your forehead? ;) (JOKES). But in all seriousness, we're getting better at communicating but it's still LACKING. If you fill something, blog about it, if you had a really great day, blog about it. Also, I will be now making sure I follow up on all direction given to the team. If that means I have to chase you down, I will. But for the most part I don't see you guys that often, thus my urgency to blog.

ANYWAYYYSSS. Yesterday I helped get rid of the WACC cluster. Good bye rounder!! We got a beautiful table from Store 4 in SoHo. It makes the jewelry look so much more expensive. I'm in love with the new table. Now all the beauty is on the stanchions. Along with all the small goods. I also got rid of all the jewelry dime outs on the floor. I came in at 9 yesterday and I had a doctors appointment so I had to leave early. Shout out to Nandi for coming in two hours early for me :)! So yesterday felt kind of short.

Today we got a lot of WACC shipment. Mostly socks, undies, and dun dun dun GLOVES. They're back! And with vengence. We got three styles. Two styles came in 3 colors and one style in 4 colors. I was not able to put them out yet, at the latest they will go out on Thursday. I need time to redo one of the A-Frames in the back of zone 2. One will become all gloves! Who said it was too early?? We also got those studded flats in a brown color (we already had black, and white). We also got a TON of jewelry. I've never seen this much jewelry come in at once. I will work on processing it once I get to the cash wrap. I floor sup'd my first hour so I could work on the shoe lounge. We have a new promo for the Alexandra Ankle Boot it will be $49 starting Thursday. So I maxed out the shelf in the SL with this boot so Thursday I don't have to worry about it, we can just put a sign up!

FRIDAY MORNING FILL LIST / I'M BAAAACK

Hello to all! I am back in action and ready to work, haha. SO, first of all a big thank you to Nico, Nandi, and Kisa for holding it down and COMMUNICATING. I absolutely loved being able to come back to work and read everything that went down. Maybe I'll take vacations more often ;)

A few things I noticed while closing that need major fills..

-MINERAL WASH BACKPACK! We have at least 30+ more in backstock and there is ONE on the floor. FILL IT, PLEASE (and all promo back packs!)
-TOMS, especially the chord Toms and the aztec-y printed ones.
-East West bag (the one in the wall near the FR..) it comes in THREE colors. There is only two on the floor. The black color is in backstock in the shoe bay on the very bottom first bay. Please fill in and stuff the grey/black bag.
-SOCKS, we have soooo many please fill them. Pay attention to the ones in the display boxed wall.
-PANTIES!! We are selling them. The ladies like them. We have a billion. Why are they not filled?!!?! Please fill these!!
-SCARVES! There was literally a pile of one scarf on the found table near the 4x4. Please just walk the floor and make sure all scarves are filled.
-And of course, spot fill!!

ALSO, there is some jewelry left over from todays shipment at the cash wrap. Please work on processing this and pegging it on the board at the cash wrap.

This weekend I want to really focus on maintaining WACC and filling the floor. I feel like were stuffed at the seams in backstock but our floor looks light. Also, the jewelry needs some love. Those bowls are out of control! One style per bowl! Sale jewelry also should be kept on the back of the sunglasses A-Frame.

As of right now, we are currently up 4%. Company is up 6%. Yes, my friends nervousness has gotten to me!

Since, we do not have shipment tomorrow. Please continue to wrap up any shipment that has been unprocessed. There are a few wacc boxes by the staging area that need to be processed and backstocked. Right now, we are in the midst of many moves. We now have a peg frame that will house jewelry. We began the switch today.  A panty wall is being built against the wall downstairs. So, its byebye table. The tights are being reworked. Please, see Morgin regarding this matter. Most wacc sale has been transferred out this week. Please fill any remaining sale. We are currently out of ecote canvas backpacks. Please offer to do a send sale. Tom's™! Really need a good fill. I filled some Wednesday evening. Them joints are flying out of here!! Sorry, to bounce around. The wacc table will be making a grand exit. Coming, will be a wacc wall. I'm excited!!!!  Nandi, was processing new jewelry to go out. Opening on Labor Day!!

Hey guys,

So we had a pretty busy Labor day today, however we did have a lot of returns :( This morning I was able to make sure that ALL of our current shoe styles are now on display. Something that would be really helpful is that if you are ringing and you notice that a customer has brought a display shoe to you, you should call lower level to get the size from back stock to make sure that all of our shoes are on display at all times. Also I made sure that all the forms have the proper shoes on. And, lastly throughout my shift I was able to fill in some jewelry. Bye for now loverssss!!!

Saturday and Sunday Opening

Hi everyone!
I had really great opening shifts this weekend! They were very productive.
On Saturday, I filled some stuff and collaborated with Nico to create a peg wall for the hats we have received.

This is what it looks like! It lives in the shoe lounge.

On the other side, I put out a ton of tights and moved the tights from the a-frame with the socks over so that the socks could have their very own home.

I hope you guys like it!

Today, I filled the Toms wall and the undlewear. I also put out a lot more jewelry. It was pretty slow so there wasn't much to do but I maintained the cash wrap and received a lot of returns.

Please fill Tom's!! It was very light yesterday evening. Jewelry as well. The full price frame is getting thin. The sale one can stand a light fill also as far as, necklaces are concerned. Intimates, should be looked at. We have a truckload of panties. Intimates are making some serious dough right now. That panty promo is awesome! Any full priced camisoles should go into the wall. Nandi, Monday please make sure all current shoe styles are displayed with stickers in the lounge as well as, the forms having new shoes. Also, make sure that there are no out stock shoes on the girls. Don't forget to fill. That is all for now. As I create this new shrimp dish at 5:50 am. I will end this by saying.
