Ok so I know there's a lot of new people coming to the team and some don't know about closing/opening/business hour procedures so here's some stuff to look out for! :)
When Opening:
-check blog for directives, notes, and things to look out for to make everyones on the same page
-make sure the closer stocked the bags under cashwrap
-all hangers in the hanger closet should be cleared out with fresh bars
-DO THE EAS CHECK FIRST THING WHEN WE OPEN!
-stock bags, if they weren't already
-ALSO, we are now cleaning in the morning so make sure to sweep behind cashwrap & make sure the cabinets are all straighten up and everything is in its rightful place. let's not let those cabinets get out of control!!
When Closing:
-Take hangers downstairs, bring up empty bars
-clean out all pins & hard tags
-stock up registers with urban bags
-take out trash
-make sure all returns have been processed
-pull all holds
-take job outs & damages to recieving (there's a bin/basket under the table for them)
-check mannequins for shoes!
-if possible PC the sunglasses, if not make sure they're tidy
-make sure everyone has logged their tags (if any were found) in the EAS binder.
During Business Hours:
-PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
-make sure we're asking for zip codes & email reciepts (I missed this on the mystery shop, so let's not forget about this!)
-get your hold tag approved by a manager, especially if a customer wanted to have the item(s) held for longer than 24hours!! we lose aduit points if this is not done!
-be aware of your surroundings! help out the greeter, and if there isn't one greet the customers while at cashwrap!
-RETURN POLICY UPDATE!!!!: NO RECIEPT, NO RETURN
that said, we are still allowed to look up the transaction thru the customers credit card (if they paid with one) as long as the tags are attached and in good condition feel free to offer them that option. just remember if you're unsure about a return or something shady is going down, speak up! don't be afraid to ask the floor sup for help or to take over the transaction for you!!
dont forget to check the card number & the customer's ID with any return that is a little weird (i do it for all my returns just in case) and enter ALL their information!!
