A day in Wacc: Friday

Hey guys.

My shift started at 9am so i didnt get the headstart on shipment.. there are quite a few Wacc boxes in recieving.. Im sure some of it is backstock and unprocessed shipment.

I pulled a box of everything I saw from todays shipment and whatever of the previous days I wasnt there. So you know it was a huge box. -Sadly I never got to the box..Like at all.

Adam backed me up most of the day. there were so many returns. So many special case customers.Crazy Questions.. Crazy everything. So Adam and I duked it out. Trying to keep the cash maintained through the day.

I did come into the cashwrap. being sort of a mess.. No hangers were taken down. No pins were empty..and there was a body of tangled jewlery with no note on them.. I tried to save them. Adam instructed Nandi to damage them out.. it was close to 400 bucks.. :(

There are still scarves that need homes and bags. I will try to make it up saturday morning. Morgin also talked to me about making a fuzzy hat A frame which sounds good. I'll work on that in the morning as well.

So theres a bit to be done in wacc.. Any help while backup ringing, would be appreciated.

Schedule 9/2 to 9/8

MY LAST TWO DAYS IN WACC!!

Hey guys,

On Wednesday I came in at 9 so I really didnt get a chance to do much filling, most of the time of my shift was dedicated to ringing the only major thing that I got done was switching the BDG flats from the sunglasses fixture to the fixture with the ecote hurache sandals and then I condensed all the sale jewlry which is now on promo (all sale jewelry 4 dollars) and put them where the flats were.

Today however I was able to max out the Kimchi blue flats and the Coop loafers since those seem to be selling pretty well, also I added all the bras and undies that weren't on display to the intimates table. Most of the bags were filled in the only bag that i filled in was the Deena and ozzy bag that is on promo on the lower level. Lastly, I put out all the new styles of jewlry that we got in.

P.S. Friday opener please find the shredded sqaure scarf a home :-/ thxx!!!!

A Day In Wacc : Tuesday

Hello all.

Today I came in at 7. I was put on the major move when I got in. I swapped the Ecote bags on the 9 faceout door (downstairs) to the 6 six faceout voop to its left. The D&O bags I moved to the the 9 F/o door.

In the process I filled bags today. On the lower level and top level. There was also a small move on the upper floor.[Moving the tote from the zone 2 coop denim short vignette to the sweater wall in zone 1. That wall was shopped the whole time I was there. So it looks to be a good home for this bag. ]

So we got in a little shipment.. none of this went out..{sorry} My day at the cash was spent doing returns. I had over 2 -3 dollar direct returns. and I also spent a certain amount of time cleaning and dusting the cash wrap.. including our glass candle vases.. as well as candles ontop of the wood at the cash. Soooooooooo Please dont neglect that space while.morning cleaning at some point in the week.

My only Directive while I enjoy my weekend is to manage filling and dealing with shipment.

We had a visit today from Sandra and kara (checkSpelling). They walked through with Morgin and Cory. I suspect giving us good feed back and great advice.

New in slant today our sale jewlery goes to being price overided to $4.00..  OVER ride ALL sale jewelry to 4 bucks.

Nandi (my advice) grab a box and pull all of yesterdays shipment into it. which wasnt much. Ask Andy to show you to the wacc samples. and save this for after you open. But firstly take any direction from Morgin or Cory. Be sure to take a look at what ever new shipment that may have come in. Try to place it and write directives for thursday opener.
Have a great day Lover.

Nico

WEEKLY DIRECTIVES

As I said, I will be gone the rest of the week. I am leaving Nico and Nandi in charge. They are my openers for the majority of the week.

As Charley already mentioned we had a big bag switch. The ecote canvas back packs sold down so we are switching them out with the promo D&O bags that are right next to it. Hopefully, this will help our bag business even more and help us sell down on some of these bags.

The East West Tote bag is going to be moved to the wall in zone 1 opposite the vignette near the stairs. They are going to take the place of the D&O bag that has been there prior (it comes in three colors). The D&O bag is on promo so it can be added to the face outs downstairs with the promo bags. Lets please keep these bags filled!

BRAS! Although bras were up this past week, they were a big call out from Allyson when she visited the store. Many styles aren't on display right now (due to all the panties on the table). SO. This week we're going to work on getting more of a variety of styles out on the table without hurting our panty business. To help create more room on the table top lets take the frames off of there. Please feel free to add another t-stand to the table when adding more bras. If they have straps, they can be hung. I don't want too much laid out on that table because then it'll just become a huge mess of intimates at night, yknow?

The shredded square scarf needs a permanent home. It comes in FIVE colors. Please find a home for these scarves before Friday. Pair up with Morgin to help with placement because, let's face it, it's not easy finding a home to display one scarf in FIVE colors.

Other then that, FILLLL. Those kimchi blue flats are FLYING. Please do not let that A-frame get light. We sold 27 pairs of them last week and I hope this week we can sell the same amount, if not more. If anyone has any questions please talk to Charley, or your opening manager who is always there to help. Lastly, PLEASE LEAVE COMMUNICATION! Especially with each other, and for me! I want to know what happened while I was away.

BYEEEE!
See you guys in a week!
Hold it down!

Some direction for Tuesday.

There is a major move to be done with the promo bags. We will be switching the ecote promo bags with the Deena & Ozzy handbags. Due to the selling down of backpacks and the over abundance of handbags. As far as filling is concerned, Tom's, and jewelry. Scarves and intimates. Nico and Nandi are the openers this week. Anni will be posting the rest of the direction for the week. Boomkack!

YAH WACC.. YEAH!!

WOOOOOOOOO. We ended the week up 46%!!! AMAZING. We had great business this past week and I'm really excited about it.

Successful classes: 157 scarves made a come back +15%, 158 sunglasses +185%, 161 earrings +13%, 162 necklaces +43%, 163 other jewelry +11%, 150 travel +103%!!! (made 2.2k!), 151 handbags +68%!!! (also made 2.2k!!), 311 casual shoes +72%, 315 athletic shoes +671%, 140 bras +49% (finally!), 141 panties +1,141%.

Oppurtunity classes: 152 hats -59%, 164 beauty -32%, 154 small goods -16%, 155 belts -26%, 312 boots -33%

Overall, a great week. Now that the weather has cooled down a bit people are buying the scarves. Hopefully we'll see an increase in hat sales too! The kimchi blue flats have been flying.. We sold 27 last week. Please make sure to keep these filled throughout the week. They are really easy sales for us. There should NEVER be down time. If it is slow, organize the sunglasses, ask your floor sup to cover you while you grab fills, re-work the the WACC cluster, re-organize the jewelry, just please take initiative to be productive in downtime.

In other news, I will be on vacation till next week (hello Mexico, Miami, and Key West!). I will leave on this note, when in doubt FILL YOUR FLOOR. Fill. Everyday. No excuses. Even if it's only a handful of stuff. Just FILL. It's important we bring that backstock together. Also, we have some visits this week so lets be ready for that. Do your best at processing shipment, pushing it out, and please make sure to backstock any unfinished projects/product before you leave. Lets keep pushing and keep up the good work. I believe in all of you to hold it down while I'm gone. :)

I'll miss you all!
See you guys in a week!

8/24 and Saturday Fills

I came in at 9 today and I spent the first hour processing Toms. I then began working on clearing off the jewelry sale set up. I was able to get two pegs worth of sale necklaces onto the jewelry A-frame. There are also t-sands now on the Wacc cluster. Morgin was working on redoing the stanchions so a lot of beauty got moved around. I was able to work most of it into the cluster. Unfortunately, there is a bit of misplaced wacc right now. The Deena and Ozzy square scarf which comes in...  5 colors? doesn't have a home still. I was also thinking we should move the sale flats on the front entry table and put that red BDG backpack there. There was one on display but it sold and now there are no more on the floor. Just a thought. Backstock is kind of crazy right now. So let's work on filling the floor, and getting that in order.

FILLS FOR SATURDAY:
mineral wash backpack near the cash wrap, all promo backpacks, scarves (especially the netted fringe eternity scarf on the back of the vignette near the stairs... it comes in 4 colors & make sure to fill the scarves on the table tops), the KB flats behind the room environment near the bathroom, BRAS (all the styles on the t-stands! lingerie hangers in the break room!), undies!! Other then that just spot fill the floor!

8/22 - 8/23

Yesterday (and today, kind of..) has been crazy. Sorry for the lack of posting this week. We've gotten a lot of shipment in the past two days. We got some really cool TOMS in. We got these aztec looking printed Toms in two colors. We also got some black sparkly ones. Heres an image I took offline of the printed ones. They're really cute.

We also got two new styles of bags in 3 colors. We got a bunch of socks (duh) and undies (duh). We got a new lace wallet in three colors. We got a new scarf in 3 colors. We got new hats in. We got new everything almost, haha. We got a new outstock shoe in today also in 3 colors. Right now the shipment from today has yet to be processed. We spent the morning processing shipment from yesterday. Unfortunately today was the day the WACC wall came down in the back of zone 2 :'(. This means on top of all the shipment we have a lot of displaced WACC we're working on finding temporary homes for just so we don't lose business over the weekend.

SO. We're moving the sunnies to one side of the A-Frame so the back of that A-Frame can house the 'seudette' flats. The hurraches and mary janes are going to make their way downstairs to the shoe lounge.

On a more serious note.. This store is looking kind of messy lately. I think we need a thorough cleaning and I don't just mean a scrub down. I mean, the floor needs to be filled and max'd out. Everything from the break room, to the backstock, to the fitting room, and cash wrap. We have GOT to take some pride in our store. If we don't, who will? If everyone is holding their weight and doing what they should be doing we won't have these problems. I also think the management team needs to set up the closing team for success. Which hasn't been happening lately. If the closing crew comes in and finds random stuff lying around (as they have been) it is not fair to them to have to clean up other peoples messes. I feel like theres a lot of that lately... Hold yourself and others accountable!

More bras which we just filled what we could.. the rest is in BS

LOTS OF SOCKSSSSSS.. SOCKS SOCKS SOCKSSS..theres no room.. maybe with the quanity and styles of  socks maybe we could get back the 2 A frames we had, to get those socks out of here during this back to school rush. ( Just a suggestion)

There was another scarf that came in 3 colors that Charlie may have placed.

My Visit to Store 156

Yesterday I went to Greenwich CT with Christine, Savion, and Janine to work at store 156 for the day. It was about a hour drive to the store. The store manager Kelly was nice enough to give us all a ride. Once we got to the store it was straight to work. I immediately began ringing people up. I swear, you know one cash wrap, you know them all. Haha. It was cool to have Christine and Savion on the floor as the customer service. It made it feel like Brooklyn was really in the house y'know? The staff was super friendly and supportive. Everyone made the transition very easy on me.

First I'll talk about their WACC department. I liked the way their shoe lounge was set up. It was small but it housed a lot of other accessories which I thought was neat. I found out how to merch those netted scarves that came in FIVE colors. Too bad we don't have something like this in our shoe lounge to hold product on the back wall!

Thats mee!

Their WACC cluster from the outside looked really clean. But from behind it was a hot mess. The table was glass and was spotless. It really gave a clean presentation at first glance. However from the back it was very disorganized. The jewelry was all over the place. I immediately began working on organizing it a bit while I had down time at the registers. I've been really trying to keep our jewelry A-Frame clean so this was definitely some uh, motivation. :) But overall, the presentation was nicely done. You could just tell it needed some TLC and maintenance.

Now, onto the fun stuff..  the floor! Overall I liked how the floor was set up. I learned that they actually share a display artist with another CT location which I thought was interesting. One display artist in two stores, that sounds like a lot of work. However, because of that they don't have a permanent DA. I liked the sideways girls on the vignette. I've noticed this at other stores too. They also used all wood hangers which gave the store a classier feel if you will. Sometimes I wish we used wooden hangers but plastic hangers do take up less space on the racks, just saying. The outfitting was nicely done as well. I liked how the mannequins were merchandised with scarves. They were knotted a few times so it hung on the girl but didn't take up so much room as to block the outfit. There were parts of the store that you could tell obviously needed some extra attention but they are low on staff, so I guess I kind of expected that. The overall aesthetic of the store was clean, classy, and had a nice presentation.

The vibe at the store was way different. It seemed so much more calm. I guess I'm used to the floor being hectic and busy on a Saturday. Although it did get busy it was never crowded or any major lines. However, the people spending money were dropping BREAD. I mean real money. One mens purhcase was almost $500. I had NUMEROUS transactions over 300-400. It was nuts. Very suburban house wives with their teenage daughters. Everyone started to look the same. They also didn't seem to care about promos so much or sale items which I thought was interesting. At our store they'd be like 'UH ISNT THIS JEWELRY 50% OFF?!' after the first 4 seconds of scanning it. Haha.

Overall I had fun and I think everyone else enjoyed themselves too. I always appreciate going to other stores to  work. I love being able to meet new people in the Urban family. Also just getting the experience to work in other locations is fun and exciting! It's not everyday I go to CT to work. It's fun to mix things up.

Saturday 8/18

Sorry for the late post-

Charley and I had a great opening this morning! I consolidated the KB skimmer peg wall in back stock and put out some of the sale sandals (which really helped them sell!) and Charley restocked the shoes/backpacks/scarves. When we opened, I went through a box of scarves and found a bunch that were on marked down. Some of the Toms have also been unpacked (we're inundated with new corduroy ones!) and I managed to empty out some boxes of shoes.
Today we seemed to sell a lot of wallets and the promos are also helping out!

Keep up the great work team!

Kisa

Today was a good day :)

friday / saturday

As soon as I came in this morning I immediately began working on the A-Frame in the back of zone 2. I moved the KB skimmers to the A-Frame front, and back. I removed all the sandals. I moved the BDG 'sudette' flats that were on the back of the A-Frame. They went into the wall in zone 2. I made sure to move the signage for the KB skimmers. Hopefully these will sell down over the weekend because we have about a bin to half a bin of each color. Lets make sure we're keeping these filled over the weekend. I also had a hour downstairs so I was able to fill panties.

During the day I spent any down time on direct returns/damages/etc. EVERYONE over the weekend during ANY down time needs to be working on this. It's gotten out of control at the cash wrap. There will no longer be baskets for damages, direct returns, and skuless. Everyone is in charge of whatever they return or damage out. ALL dime outs and damages have to be taken downstairs at the end of the night. They go underneath the desk in backstock. There is a bin that says dime outs and damages. You can tell if it's a damage because it'll be in a plastic bag with a receipt attached. Dime outs usually have .10 on them or look similar to damages.

SATURDAY: Please spend the morning working on WACC in backstock. I had to leave two boxes of shoes back there. One box is mostly sale sandals which can be filled in the shoe lounge through out the weekend. The other is full priced flats which need to be backstocked. I think if the KB skimmers in the bins are consolidated we can make room for them. Also, the pegboard in backstock is very light now so we can chose a style of shoes or sandals to put on there as well. There is also a gross amount of scarves needed to be backstocked. Make sure to leave enough time to fill the floor before we open (especially shoes, scarves, and handbags/backpacks!). All downtime in the morning and during the day you should be working on the skuless bin at the registers. PLEASE leave communication on what has been filled/done in backstock/how far the skuless items are.

lets please communicate!
push those promos!
and have a great weekend everyone ! :)

Schedule 8/19 to 8/25

Thursday 8/16

I'm going to go ahead and post for today even though it's only half way over. This morning I helped with shipment. We got in a replen of the printed ecote canvas back pack, a new quilted backpack, tights, replen in the four buckle tote in grey, and a new (and quite ugly) fuzzy hat in two colors.

I fixed the Hurraches pegboard. I moved the pegs around so now it can hold four pegs on each row. I got to use the power drill. It's always a good day when I get to use the power drill. Makes me feel so .... in charge.

Adam covered the cash wrap for me so I was able to grab some fills. I filled: fanny packs, mary janes, scarves, and clutches. The mary janes hadn't been filled for a while and the ladies are loving the printed ones right now. These shoes aren't super visible and they're still selling. Lets not forget about the mary janes and remind people these are 2 for $20.

I was also able to switch a hour so I can be downstairs covering Nicos break. This will allow me time to take that lingerie section from 90% to 100%. I plan on filling the underwear, camis, and bras. I also plan on RF'ing all the camis to see if any are on sale. I am also going to change that mannequin next to the rounder, which I'm pretty excited about.

WEEKLY DIRECTIVES

We ended the week up +20%! WOOOOOOO! Go WACC. We made 11.1k. Lets aim for another great, if not even better week! Push those promos!!

Success classes: 158 sunglasses +393%, 161 earrings +18%,
163 other jewelry +86%, 150 travel +46%, 311 casual shoes +9%, 215 athletics +422%.

Opportunity classes: 152 hats -77%, 157 scarves -43%, 164 beauty -8%,
162 necklaces  -8%, 151 handbags -5%, 154 small goods -9%, 155 belts -23%.

  • The front of the A-Frame in the back of zone 2 is housing a ton of sale sandals right now. We're going to move the sale sandals to the shoe lounge. Then the Kimchi Blue flats on the wall in zone 2 (the $19 promo ones) will go on that A-Frame. The BDG flats on the back of the A-Frame now will go into the wall in zone 2. So we're pretty much just switching the shoes. The KB flats are selling and the BDG guys aren't. The ones on promo we have a ton of so creating an entire A-Frame for it will clear up some space in backstock hopefully.
  • The Hurraches need to get re-pegged and re-worked. An additional peg can be added to both rows, and the peg board needs to be drilled in.
  • RF the cami's in the lingerie section and replen any to fill the space of the sale camis.
  • Mark downs and furthers this week! Must be completed  by Friday.
  • The WACC sale stanchion is going to be moved in the next week or so. Let's keep this in mind!! We want to have to backstock as little as possible when this stanchion comes down!
  • Let's keep these WACC PROMOS filled!! Jewelry! KB flats! D&O bags! Those backpacks are selling like hot cakes. Lets push them out the door!
  • Other then that we're just finishing up this lingerie section, bringing it from 80% done to 100% done. Working on markdowns. A-Frame move. and of course.. FILLING, please for the love of god FILL. :)

Sunday Mornin

This morning I worked on spot filling the floor as well as filling all promo bags, TOMS,  and promo shoes. (ALL ECOTE BACKPACKS ARE OUT ON THE FLOOR, THERE ARE NONE IN BACKSTOCK!) I also, ran all the WACC runs that have been piling up in the fitting room. It's crazy how many there were! Let's try to be on top of this with our closings and not let this happen again. We have a veeerrryyy slow morning and it wasn't really picking up when I left at 2 so hopefully we'll have a good amount of customers coming in now thru closing to meet our goal!

I almost had an $862 direct return today but Asher kindly asked the woman if she would mind only returning a few items at our location and then maybe shipping the rest or return to another location since that big of a return would have really killed our day!! like, MAJOR. The customer understood and was not upset at all and was willing to help us out and ended up only returning about $241 worth of merchandise. Still, a large amount, but definitely A LOT better than what could have happened.
Moral of the story: If you're getting a very large return, ask a manager if you should proceed, be very courteous of the customer, and remind them that return shipping is free.

Let's have a great week team and work towards that goal and keep our depts numbers UP!

Tonight's Close!

Hey Y'all!

So tonight's close was pretty routine, our last customer left at 10...literally the only one in the store the entire last hour. But we made goal!!! yayyyy :) So things to look forward to tomorrow: The awesome new placement for the sunglass cases!! yayyy. I mentined a Corey a while ago that I didn't think people realized they cases were for sunglasses so they havent been making much movement and that they should be displayed with thesunnies on the A-Frame, so here they are! beauuutyyy

Also, Cashwrap needs a good clean lovin..I sweep early in my shift cause it was lookin crayy but another once over in the morning should do it and a nice dusting too!

Pantyland is lookin DELISHHH...s/o to Morressia for that one! i'm excited to see the new makeover thoughh :)

Backstock is soo crazyy right now, I went back there to dump pins and job outs/damages and almost lost my mind! So let's do our part and help out Janine where we can and try to keep our area ONE HUNNED!

Another area that's needs so good love and care is the break room...Hangers are getting out of hand, I know it's like a battle to try and hang up those bars when they're full, but I've noticed some aren't even on overload, so let's try to condense where we can, don't be afraid to get in there and move those pegs up! make space, but dont get too crazy cause it's a danger zone back there with all those boxes!! Ask for help, I'm tall but I'm not the strongest and I know that those bars can get heavy when they're full so I always ask for help! Let's get this situation under control.

And a final point.. I'm going to repeat Mario here (our internationmanofmystery) but why are there still direct return jewelry & accessories items at cashwrap? Please process your returns during & at the end of your shift! some of those items have been there for awhile! put them out on the sales floor!! Also, let's try and get ahold on some of these sku-less items! When it's slow, search the website or sku books...let's get rid of this ishhh!

EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION STARTS TODAY! (well today when you see this!) get ya shop on and buy up those accessories & wacc goodies!

LET'S MAKE THAT MONEY HONEY!

Anni (and the rest of the team),

When you go to reorganize pantyland this week, take a look at the merch & display page on the intranet.  There are some great suggestions for adding home attributes and how to merchandise it so it's in line with our brand's aesthetic.  Thanks!

Wednesday: A-Frame switch! The first two rows on the downstairs A-Frame should be just opaque tights. The patterned tights should live on the wall. The remaining rows on the A-frame should just be socks! Please work on this first thing Wednesday morning.

Thursday: Lingerie overhaul! Seriously, Panty Land needs a complete make over. The camis will all be hung, bras will be hung, and we're going to have panties across the whole table. I'm really excited to gut this table, haha! Hello intimates!

Friday: SHOES!! The very front shoe display table is going to house all the full priced shoes. All the sale shoes need to go on the sale table or on the wall. There is enough room if you condense the shoes on the wall to clear off a shelf. The bottom two shelves should be sale boxed shoes. If you can condense the shoes even further we can add outstock shoes to another shelf.

Saturday:  Sale clean up! Please clean the back of the z-racks and backstock any piecey items. Handbags or scarves can live on the back of the z-racks but please do not over fill. Each face out in the bag sale section should be one style of bag. Please use the rest of your morning to fill. Please pay close attention to: scarves, beauty, handbags, casual shoes, and hats.

Sunday: Spot fill! And please make sure all the weekly directives have been taken care of. If everyone blogged about their day you would be able to just check here..

Please lets be working on finishing these dime outs and filling through out the day if it is slow. There should never be down time. Push those promos!! 30% OFF SALE ACCESSORIES. Let the customers know. Kimchi blue flats are $19!! Get em while they're hot. Seriously though, we have a bunch of promos and let's talk them up.

Lets have another great week.

Closing 8/6

Meant to write this last night but I was extremely tired when I got home.

Well it was pretty much your everyday closing shift. Nothing too strange, besides the girl who I believe was a stripper that paid me $341 in all singles... Yea it was fun counting. had to call over Adam to make sure I didn't make any mistakes. Thanks Adam.

As some may know by now we were hit 2 days ago and the guy got away with a ridiculous amount of Urbanears. We have to be more mindful of that housewares/electronics corner seeing as how we at cash wrap are at the front of the store. That area has always been a hot spot, so regardless if we have a person greeting or not we should pay extra attention to that area. the amount of headphones this person was able to un-tag and walk out with is absurd.

Another thing, We have to be taking care of our own direct returns. Usually I don't complain because that's not me. But honestly I close most of the time and having to come into a basket full of direct returns is not fun especially on days when its busy because it delays closing and whatever I don't get to is left for the associate who opens, mids, or even closes the next day. I have come in sometimes and DR that I wasn't able to get to the day before are still there when I comeback to close. That is why last night I didn't do any of the ones in the basket because I did no DR last night I took care of all of my returns that I did tagged them and they were run. The basket was full.

We also are low on hard tags. We need to start getting rid of all that sku-less mess behind cash wrap cause it looks disgusting and its overflowing.

Employee Appreciation start 8/9. Hope everyone has a great day. :)

I NEED A DIMEEEEEE

Hey WACC babies!!

So today I opened and had a bit of a to do list, I'm proud to say that I managed to get thru the greater portion of it with the exception of one thing! Last night Charley and I spoke about filling continuing to fill the Oh So Popular TOMS wall, which I did. Also, there was a bin of bras and panties that I filled filled F I L L E D onto the table! There's so much product there NO ONE should be asking you to check the back for a size!!

I also, filled the back half of that A- Frame up with sunglasses, they're all in style order and stocked up long enough to allow the customers to throw some shade down the block! The front, however is pretty stocked on it's own, I did not add to it, but since the back is basically closed out someone should work on the front tonight during close.

Something that took up the greater portion of my morning was RF-ing backstock, checking for dimeouts, markdowns etc. The bins that I went thru all have a little piece of black tape on them. I don't think those other bins need to be checked, since the product in them is so currecnt, but double check with Charley and find out. SO MANY DIMEOUTS THIS MORNING!! ~~**cR@y CrAy!**~~ lots of scarves and bras were all dimed out so those boxes layed out in the back are quite full between me and Tony WACC & Housewares stuff.

So between spending like 1.5hours in backstock checking for dimeouts and markdowns, filling the TOMS, panties & bras and cleaning the bathroom & cashwrap area I did not have time to RF the sunglasses which was like a major thing Charley wanted me to do. Soo sorry about that!! hopefully one of you fine dimes can get on that tonight or tomorrow. But all and all it was a good morning, kinda slow the first hour which gave me time to really get crazy with those sunglasses, but when it started to pick up it was already 12.30 and I was out at 1. So let's get it, do it big, we're up 5, let's TRIPLE it!!

love you all
xoxo

Elle

Saturday

While the closers were Elle and Tyler. Nandi opened and passed off to me the following, The single shoe situation was taken care of. We still have some left over. Which we will be damaging out. Beauty and jewelry were filled. Since, we filled bags on Friday afternoon. We didn't need to for Saturday. We walked the floor for signage. Which is current and clean. Tom's, scarves, hats and intimates were filled. I took care of back stocking the remainder of the wacc boxes and wacc samples. P.S. There should be no wacc samples after Wednesday afternoon. During the close I communicated with Elle about Sunday direction. She will be filling Tom's and spot filling. Wrapping up the mark downs and dimeouts. She mentioned redoing the sunglasses due to the dimeouts and its disarray. Hopefully, we did good last week. Fingers crossed!
Peace, love and pizza grease!

8/1

Happy August everybody!
I had a short shift today, but due to the rain it was an extremely slow day (as far as I know). I mostly helped fold the new clothing. We have a lot of flannels for the fall, as well as some new shoes.
Tom built a lot of new shelving on the wall next to the fitting room and if I'm not mistaken, denim is being kept there.
Overall, it was a generally good day!
